Our Ferragamo representative came by today, which is amazing because he is based out of New York and has never come by the store at all I do not believe. He dropped off some shoeshine kits for our promotion for gifts with purchase. Hopefully the promotion will go well so that sometime in the future we can actually have a trunk show. Ecco came in shortly afterward and decided to change her gift with purchase. She actually added onto it, making the golf gift a golf tee and a golf ball. I guess there is a sort of rivalry between the representatives as to who can give out the best deals or contests. It is an absolute must that their shoes be displayed out front on the best table when they come in or you never hear the end of it. I personally am only in it for the free shoes that I can get. There was a contest last week for a nice pair of four hundred dollar shoes but I missed out on it. I could only sell one and I was too sick to go to work the second day of the contest so I missed out. I am pretty sure I can get another pair free from another vendor though, but I love these specific shoes. The only thing is the representative is not so fond of me so I will have to find another way. Maybe take him out for a drink sometime.
